अंत में, सभी पांच लड़कियों को स्टेज पर बुलाया गया, एक पंक्ति में खड़ा किया गया, और उन्हें पुरस्कार दिए गए...

• आकांक्षा कुल मिलाकर 225 स्कोरिंग मोड़ ले पाई, और उसकी कार पर जो संख्या लिखी थी, वह 195 थी...
• जाह्नवी ने हरी (ग्रीन) कार चलाई थी, और वह सुमनलता की तुलना में 120 स्कोरिंग मोड़ अधिक ले पाई...
• स्टेज पर सबसे बाईं ओर खड़ी मेघा की कार पर जो संख्या लिखी थी, वह 180 थी, और वह जितने स्कोरिंग मोड़ ले पाई, वह इस संख्या से 60 कम थे...

It meant, the organisers deduct the number of errors each driver made, from the number of scoring turns she managed to take during the race, and the higher the difference, the higher the driver's marks were…

All the five girls were called on the stage, made to stand in a line, and were given the prizes…

• Akanksha managed to take 225 scoring turns and the number on her car was 195...
• Jahnavi drove the Green car and managed to take 120 scoring turns more than Sumanlata could…

चोरी की गिन्नियों का बंटवारा... (Division of stolen gold coins...)

सात चोरों ने राजमहल में घुसकर चोरी की और सोने की गिन्नियों से भरी थैली लेकर भाग निकले...

सैनिकों से बचते-बचाते सबसे पहले दो चोर अपने अड्डे पर पहुंचे, और मन में बेईमानी आ गई... सोचा, हम दोनों ही बांट लेते हैं, सो, गिन्नियां निकालकर दो हिस्सों में बांटने की कोशिश की, लेकिन एक गिन्नी बच गई...

इतनी ही देर में तीसरा चोर भी भागते-भागते पहुंचा और तुरन्त भांप गया, क्या चल रहा है... सो बोला, मेरा हिस्सा भी बांटो, वरना पोल खोल दूंगा... अब गिन्नियों को तीन हिस्सों में बांटा गया, लेकिन इस बार भी एक गिन्नी बच गई...

इसी दौरान चौथा चोर भी पहुंचा और बाकी साथियों की तरह गिन्नियों को चार हिस्सों में बांटे जाने की फरमाइश कर डाली, लेकिन हाय रे भाग्य... इस बार भी एक गिन्नी बच गई...

इसी तरह पांचवें के आने पर जब पांच हिस्से किए गए, तब भी आश्चर्यजनक रूप से एक गिन्नी बची, और उन सबकी हैरानी का कोई छोर न रहा, जब छठे साथी के पहुंचने पर उन्होंने गिन्नियों के छह हिस्से किए और तब भी एक गिन्नी बच गई...

आखिरकार, सातवां चोर भी अड्डे पर पहुंच गया, और सात हिस्सों में बांटने पर गिन्नियां पूरी-पूरी बंट गईं...

Two of the thieves ran faster, and reached their den before their accomplices, and thought of sharing the coins between themselves... But when they tried to divide the total coins into two parts, one coin remained...

In the meanwhile, the third thief reached there, and understood immediately what's happening... He asked to divide the loot into three parts, and when they tried doing that, one coin remained this time too...

Fourth thief also arrived, and demanded the same, but unfortunately, when they divided the coins in four parts, one coin remained this time too...

Very surprisingly, they tried dividing the coins into five parts, when the fifth of their partner reached to the den, and into six parts, when the sixth one came, but both the times, one coin remained...

During winter vacations, I visited a veterinary researcher friend of mine in Bareilly's IVRI (Indian Veterinary Research Institute), where the kids - Saarthak, Jigyaasa, Ambar, Nishtha and Samagra - were given a tour of the little zoo they have...

Kids enjoyed that thoroughly, and when they came back, the youngest Samagra told me, "Bade Papa, we have seen three types of animals in the zoo... Bees had six legs each, spiders had eight legs each, and mice had four legs each..."

My and brother's kids - Saarthak, Nishtha, Jigyaasa & Ambar - went to a mountaneering trip, where they needed to cross a gorge between two peaks by hanging through a rope...

But the problem was, the bats who attack the people on the rope, until they are wearing an electrical jacket, which can be worn by two kids at one time...

The gorge was more than 250 meters wide, so the jacket could not be thrown back, and someone had to be back through the rope wearing the jacket, until all four of them reach safely on the other peak...

Now, if through that rope, Saarthak can reach to the other peak in 3 (three) minutes, Jigyaasa can reach there in 7 (seven) minutes, Ambar can reach there in 13 (thirteen) minutes and Nishtha can reach to the other peak in 17 (seventeen) minutes, you guys tell me, at least how long will it take all of them to reach to the other side...?

• We halted for the first time, when we had covered 180 meters more than the one-third of the total distance...
• We took a break for the second time, when we had covered one-fourth of the remaining distance...
• The third break came, when we had covered one-third of the remaining distance...
• We halted for the fourth time, when we had covered one-fifth of the remaining distance...
• We took the fifth break, when we had covered 162 meters less than one-fourth of the remaining distance...
• The sixth break came, when we had covered 30 per cent of the remaining distance...
• Suddenly Nishtha complained of a sprain the her ankle, and we had to take the seventh break, when we had only covered one-sixth of the remaining distance...

I once went to bank to open an Fixed Deposit (FD) account, and the amount I gave to the clerk only had Rupees 100 notes, and the Rupee one coins...

After a few years, when I encashed that FD, the clerk gave me as many Rupees 100 notes as I gave him the Rupee one coins, and as many Rupee one coins as I gave him the Rupees 100 notes at the time of opening the FD...

I hired an autorickshaw to reach home, and gave a Rupees 100 note to auto-driver, and he returned 50 Rupee one coins...

When inside home, I counted the notes and coins, and was surprised to find that I have exactly double notes and double coins, if compared to the number of notes and coins, I deposited at the time of opening the FD...
