मेरे और मेरे भाई के बच्चे - सार्थक, निष्ठा, जिज्ञासा और अम्बर - पर्वतारोहण अभियान पर गए थे, जहां उन्हें पहाड़ की चोटियों के बीच मौजूद खाई को एक रस्सी पर लटककर पार करना पड़ा...

समस्या वहां पर बसे हुए चमगादड़ थे, जो रस्सी पर मौजूद हर शख्स पर हमला कर देते थे, यदि उसने बिजली की तरंगे छोड़ने वाली जैकेट न पहनी हो, जिसे एक बार में दो बच्चे पहन सकते थे...

खाई की चौड़ाई 250 मीटर से भी ज़्यादा थी, सो, जैकेट को वापस नहीं फेंका जा सकता था, और हर बार किसी न किसी को वह जैकेट पहनकर ही लौटना पड़ता, जब तक चारों बच्चे खाई के उस पार सुरक्षित दूसरी चोटी पर नहीं पहुंच जाते...

अब, यदि सार्थक उस खाई को रस्सी पर लटककर 3 (तीन) मिनट में पार कर सकता है, जिज्ञासा 7 (सात) मिनट में, अम्बर 13 (तेरह) मिनट में और निष्ठा 17 (सत्रह) मिनट में दूसरी ओर पहुंच सकती है, तो आप बताइए, चारों को दूसरी चोटी पर पहुंचने में कम से कम कितना वक्त लगेगा...?
