सार्थक के साथ सुबह की सैर... (Morning walk with Saarthak...)

एक दिन जब मैं सार्थक के साथ सुबह-सुबह सैर करने के लिए हमारे पड़ोस में मौजूद झील वाले पार्क में गया तो अचानक सार्थक ने मुझसे वहां बनी झील का चक्कर काटकर आने के लिए कहा...

मैं भी तैयार हो गया, और दौड़ना शुरू कर दिया, लेकिन दूरी काफी होने के कारण बीच में कई बार मुझे पानी पीने के लिए रुकना पड़ा...

• सबसे पहली बार मैं तब रुका, जब पूरी दूरी का एक-चौथाई भाग चुका था...
• उसके बाद दूसरी बार पानी पीने से पहले मैंने बची हुई दूरी की आधी दूरी से 200 मीटर अधिक तय कर लिए...
• तीसरी बार पानी पीने के लिए रुकने से पहले मैं बची हुई दूरी के एक-चौथाई से 150 मीटर अधिक भाग चुका था...
• चौथी बार मैं तब रुका, जब मैं बची हुई दूरी के एक-तिहाई से 100 मीटर अधिक भाग चुका था...
• इसके बाद बची हुई दूरी का एक-तिहाई हिस्सा भागने के बाद मैंने पांचवीं बार पानी पिया...
• फिर मैं बची हुई दूरी के आधे से 200 मीटर अधिक भागकर रुका...
• और इसके बाद बचे हुए 300 मीटर मैंने आसानी से पूरे कर लिए, और सार्थक के पास पहुंच गया...

अब क्या आप लोग मुझे बता सकते हैं, मैं कुल कितनी दूर भागा...?

One fine day, I and my son Saarthak were jogging in the nearby Lake & Park, and suddenly he challenged me to take a round of the lake running...

I agreed and started running, but since it was quite long a distance, I stopped a few times to have some water before I could resume running...

• I stopped for the first time, when I had covered one-fourth of the total distance...
• I stopped for the second time, when I had covered 200 meters more than half of the remaining distance...
• I stopped for the third time, when I had covered 150 meters more than one-fourth of the remaining distance...
• I stopped for the fourth time, when I had covered 100 meters more than one-third of the remaining distance...
• I stopped for the fifth time, when I had covered one-fourth of the remaining distance...
• I stopped for the sixth time, when I had covered 200 meters more than half of the remaining distance...
• But after that, I did not need to stop, as only 300 meters were remaining, and I covered them in a single burst...

Now, can you guys tell me, how much distance did I cover that day...?
