फिल्म टिकटों पर लिखी संख्याएं... (Numbers on the film tickets...)

मैं घर में बैठा आराम कर रहा था, जब मेरा बेटा सार्थक और बेटी निष्ठा मेरे पास आए, और खुशी से चहकते हुए बताया कि उन्हें उस फिल्म की टिकट खरीदने में कामयाबी मिल गई है, जो वे देखना चाहते थे, और यह भी कि वे दोनों साथ-साथ बैठ पाएंगे...

फिर सार्थक के चेहरे पर हमेशा की तरह शरारती मुस्कान तैर गई, और वह बोला, "पापा, हमारी टिकटों पर चार-चार अंक वाली दो अलग-अलग संख्याएं लिखी हैं, जिनके सभी आठ अंकों का जोड़ 25 है..."

मेरी समझ में तुरंत आ गया कि वह क्या चाहता है, सो, मैंने उससे सवाल किया कि क्या आठ में से कोई भी अंक शेष अंकों की तुलना में ज़्यादा बार इस्तेमाल हुआ है, और सार्थक ने ईमानदारी से इस सवाल का जवाब दे दिया...

फिर मैंने मन ही मन कुछ हिसाब लगाया और सार्थक से दोबारा सवाल किया कि क्या दोनों में से किसी एक टिकट पर लिखे अंकों का योग 13 है, और उसने इस सवाल का जवाब भी ईमानदारी से दिया...

और इसके तुरंत बाद सार्थक को आश्चर्यचकित करते हुए मैंने दोनों टिकटों पर लिखी संख्याएं उसे बता दीं...

अब क्या आप लोग मुझे वे संख्याएं बता पाएंगे...?

I was relaxing when my son Saarthak and daughter Nishtha came to me announcing that they have got the tickets to the new movie they planned to watch that night, and they were happy that they were going to sit together...

Then, like he always does, Saarthak smiled and said, "Papa, we have got two different four-digit numbers on the tickets we have bought, and the sum of all the eight digits is 25..."

I understood what he wants, and asked him if any of the digits appeared more out of the eight, which he answered truthfully...
